The 22nd June saw the annual Vickery Holman Cycle Trailquest event take place at Krowji in Redruth. Teams set off from the impressive new studio space at Krowji pedalling their way to various points in the surrounding countryside in order to locate clues and answer questions. Points are awarded for correct answers, but deducted for late returns.
Amongst them was our Senior Designer Leo Stockley, riding with Justin Armstrong from Vickery Holman, under the team name 'The Late Starters'. That late start may have cost them the chance to successfully defend their first place from 2014, but didn't deter from any enjoyment. Leo said 'This is my second Cycle Trailquest and I have really enjoyed taking part – you discover parts of Cornwall you'd just never normally find. In fact, I'm not sure I could find them again'.
The ride was followed by drinks, food and the chance to network.
Krowji is Cornwall's biggest creative sector cluster, providing studios, workspaces, offices, the Melting Pot Cafe, meeting rooms and other facilities for a wide range of creative businesses at the Old Grammar School buildings in Redruth. Vickery Holman recently project managed the construction of an impressive new building offering flexible studio space for the creative industry.
