Esmée, who succumbed to Covid a mere 2 weeks prior to the meet, bounced back with great effect. Lining up in Lane 3, the team produced a thrilling display, winning their heat on the opening day of racing in a time of 8.45.68 and resulting in being ranked a very respectable 7th in the Country!
Following on from this recent success, Esmée will be returning to Sheffield in early August to compete in the Home Nation Championships. We wish her the best of luck!
