The Wooda Farm Holiday Park in North Cornwall has been in the Colwall family for almost 100 years, and to be extended the opportunity to develop the brand has been almost akin to being invited to become an honorary member - like a distant cousin with a great set of pencils.
The family-friendly park is constantly evolving and the previous logo was showing signs of age, so to bring this up to date we workshopped the key ethos and phrases that sum up the company and delivered a range of identity proposals. The final logo and brand is based around simple, uncomplicated family time.
Our designs use clean typographic treatments and, along with organic shapes, help form the main branding. A new gentle pastel colour palette and bespoke illustrations detailing all the sub-brands have been incorporated into the overall styling.

Presenting the brand online was crucial, with online bookings accounting for over 70% of visits. The strong photography and new illustrations have allowed the space to shine, while the user booking journey is well considered and easy to follow. We worked with the Wooda team to select a programming company who could fulfil their requirements and seamlessly integrate the third-party booking software.
Debs, our Project Manager, worked closely with the managers and marketing team to ensure all aspects of the project were delivered on time, to a high standard and on budget.
More recently we continued with Wooda's evolution and created a sister brand for the Wooda park. Gwelva Hills is the latest development of nine luxurious eco-lodges, and we wanted to give the sense of a high-quality brand that also sits neatly alongside the broader “wooda” style.
Whilst a dedicated website is in the works we have designed and built a bite-sized splash page for Gwelva Hills. Amongst the collateral visualised we have designed menus for the onsite restaurants and cocktail bar, as well as way-finding and signage for the park and both online and printed advertising.
